Our Approach

The Quantico Middle/High School Replacement project consisted of the existing 115,000 square foot educational facility’s new construction and the demolition of the previous school building. Straughan Environmental worked as the Sustainability Consultant with the construction team, John C. Grimberg, to track, implement, and document the project’s sustainability goals. Straughan prepared monthly updates to the LEED Documentation Notebook including all sustainability documentation requirements and subsequent construction waste only updates to the construction team and the owner team, in compliance with the LEED Implementation Plan, Indoor Air Quality Management Plan, Solid Waste Management Plan, and Specification Section 013329 LEED Documentation.
