Mr. Blose has over 20 years of experience in management, design, and inspection of environmental, civil and water resource engineering for federal, state, local, and private projects. He oversees the engineering department and leads a variety of projects including those related to stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, stream restoration, geomorphic assessments, NPDES and TMDL compliance, FEMA, drainage, hydrology, structure/stream hydraulics, permitting, water quality, water and wastewater, and watershed management. His industry experience includes his work as an approved Sediment and Stormwater Management Expedited Plan Reviewer for the Maryland Department of the Environment and the Baltimore City Department of Public Works. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia. Mr. Blose earned his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance at Loyola University, and is Rosgen Stream Restoration Certified (LV I – IV). Providing TMDL program management support as the SWM Retrofit Implementation Manager for the Maryland Department of Transportation, State Highway Administration where Straughan was awarded Outstanding Consultant Award Support Award.
