Tracy Seymour, PE, LEED GA, Assoc. DBIA

President and CEO

Tracy Seymour, PE, LEED GA, Assoc. DBIA, is President and CEO of Straughan. She is a registered Professional Engineer in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. She has over 21 years of experience in contract management, project management, civil engineering, environmental analysis, sustainability consulting and construction inspection. Her responsibilities have included successful review and preparation of environmental analysis studies and construction documents for noise barriers, highways, stormwater management facilities, erosion and sediment control, maintenance of traffic, and streams. Ms. Seymour has prepared contract documents for a variety of civil engineering projects including 19 noise barriers in the state of Maryland as well as 3 noise barriers in Virginia and is on the VDOT list of people qualified to perform noise analysis in the commonwealth. She has experience working on Design/Build projects as well as experience with public outreach for both analysis and design projects and experience providing expert testimony. Ms. Seymour also has experience with Technical Training, Environmental/Sustainability Consulting for Facilities and Construction projects. She has experience preparing documents that meet the requirements of NEPA/MEPA and is familiar with Maryland environmental regulations. 

I believe that it is the responsibility of today’s generation of planners, engineers, and scientists to meet the challenge of developing sustainable solutions to our societies changing needs as well as supporting the preservation of our natural resources.
